Check column types, null rates, unique counts, and dirty-data flags before you load a file. Your spreadsheet never leaves this browser.
I build reports, ask better questions of the data, and cut down the weekly copy-paste. Excel, SQL, Power BI, and Python.
I work with teams who already have data, but not a clean way to see what matters. That usually means fixing how numbers get pulled, how they land in a workbook or dashboard, and how often someone has to redo the same steps by hand.
Most days I am in Excel, SQL, or Power BI. Python shows up when a refresh job needs to run without someone babysitting it. Based in Brunswick, ME, working with teams across southern Maine and remote. More detail on LinkedIn.
What I reach for most often on client work.

Pretty-print a query and get a plain-English sketch of tables, joins, and filters. Your SQL never leaves this browser.

Excel · reporting
Inherited workbooks that mixed raw exports with half-finished pivots. Rebuilt them with clear source tabs, structured tables, and a front summary people used in weekly check-ins instead of asking for a new pull every time.
SQL · analysis
Wrote queries that joined campaign, web, and CRM-style exports so segments and performance could be compared in one place. Replaced gut-feel debates with a shared table everyone could filter and trust for the next planning cycle.
Python · data prep
Automated the path from spreadsheet drop to cleaned output (and into SQL where it helped). Cut the manual cleanup loop so analysts spent time on the numbers, not on reformatting the same file every Monday.
Side project with real accounts and a real database: forge procedural loot, Clash with card strategy loadouts, climb boards. Proof I ship end to end, not only slides and workbooks.
If you need cleaner reporting, a SQL view of performance, or less time lost to manual refreshes, write me. I answer my own email.
